The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of real estate transactions, mortgage processes, and title insurance procedures. This role involves managing title searches, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth property transfers. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough knowledge of mortgage and loan documentation.*Responsibilities** Conduct detailed title searches and examinations to verify property ownership and identify liens or encumbrances* Prepare and review title reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness* Coordinate with underwriters, escrow officers, and legal teams to resolve title issues* Ensure compliance with FNMA guidelines, Fair Housing regulations, TILA, and other relevant federal laws* Review loan documents including contracts, escrow agreements, and loan commitments for accuracy and adherence to regulations* Assist in the underwriting process by providing necessary title information for loan approval* Maintain thorough documentation of all title activities and correspondence* Support loan origination and mortgage servicing teams with accurate title data* Stay updated on changes in real estate laws, banking regulations, and industry best practices*Experience** Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Title Officer or in a similar role within the financial services or mortgage industry* Proven expertise in FNMA standards, underwriting procedures, and loan processing* Strong background in credit analysis, mortgage servicing, escrow procedures, and basic math skills including 10 key typing proficiency* Familiarity with fair housing regulations, TILA compliance, contracts review, xijylhu and banking operations* Experience in loan officer functions or mortgage-related roles is highly desirable* Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial documents and perform accurate credit assessmentsThis position offers an opportunity for seasoned professionals to leverage their extensive industry knowledge within a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in real estate transactions.Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.42 - $32.56 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
