With over 50 locations in vibrant neighborhoods throughout the New York City metro area and New Jersey, our incredible team of pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and clinical support staff practices a unique philosophy that embraces low intervention and thoughtful medicine while delivering the highest quality of service and care.About the Role:The Registered Nurse will primarily communicate with patients through phone triage to assess and identify their needs, implement and monitor medical plans and treatments, maintain accurate health records, consult with healthcare providers, and educate patients and their families.Independently run vaccine clinicsDaily phone triaging, providing clinical guidance, education, and support to familiesRecord patient history, perform various diagnostic tests, administer PO medications, blood draws, and assistance in emergency proceduresPre-screening and clearing patients for in-office visits and testingAdministration of immunizations for routine and seasonal travel vaccinesReview diagnostic testing results and defer to provider as neededReview and clearance of medical records for new patientsComplete school, camp, and medication formsLiaison with insurances regarding prior authorizations, patient care, medications reviews, and coordination of careWhen in office triaging patients for well and sick visits, working alongside a pediatrician, and maintaining the office environmentAbout You:NYS RN license required. BLS and PALS certifications are preferredNJ License required; should be obtained within 3 months of hire (paid for by the practice)Professional and concise phone skills - this is the majority of daily responsibilitiesAbility to work independently, as well as effectively with othersExcellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workFamiliarity with evidence-based Pediatric protocols, interest in low intervention practiceCompensation and Benefits:Our RNs start at $40/hour for their first year with us!
