Commercial Storefront Fabrication Supervisor

Perform metal fabrication duties as it pertains to aluminum storefront framing, doors and windows.*Job Responsibilities:** Must be able to read blueprints and make cut lists for fabricators* Fabricate aluminum frames, doors, and windows according to design requirements.* Install storefront systems on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards.* Must be able to organize shop personnel efficiently and monitor quality requirements* Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.* Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues as they arise.* Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job* Observe flat drawings or diagrams and understand how they would look as solid objects* Compare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures, and objects* Works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents on delivery schedules* Oversee shop safety practices and report any non-conformances*Education/Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience* Storefront Metal Fabrication experience.*Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:** Great organizational skills* Great verbal communication skills* Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently* Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field* Work within precise standards of accuracy* Rate information using standards that can be measured or checked* Apply basic mathematical skills* Follow oral and written directions* Ability to provide effective written and verbal instructions, as well as to retrieve information from technical sources.*Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:*While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.
