As our Inventory Accounting Manager, you will be the engine behind our financial accuracy. Youí¢â‚¬â„¢ll own the end-to-end inventory process across our entire family of brands, ensuring every piece of gear from high-performance helmets to essential parts is exactly where it needs to be for our customers. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, youí¢â‚¬â„¢ll translate complex data into clear insights, driving the operational efficiency that keeps our community moving and our business "Aiming for the Podium." The Ride (Your Impact): Master the Omnichannel Landscape: Own the end-to-end accounting, valuation, and reporting of inventory across our retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. Youí¢â‚¬â„¢ll be the go-to expert for inventory-related processes, COGS, reserves, and internal controls.Own the Close: Lead the monthly inventory accounting close, including roll-forwards, gross margin analysis, and PPV analysis with high-speed accuracy.Support Process Improvement: Partner with our IT teams to automate systems and "Look through the turn" to find scalable, tech-forward solutions for inventory tracking.Share the Road: Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Merchandising, and AP to ensure landed costs, rebates, and freight are recorded with precision.Ensure Compliance: Maintain a "Helmet On" approach to risk by developing consistent accounting policies and leading the charge on annual audit requests.Navigate Variances: Monitor system reports and sub-ledgers to investigate discrepancies, ensuring our financial data is as reliable as the bikes we ride. Your Track Record: The Credentials: You hold a CPA license and bring 5+ years of accounting experience Industry Experience: You have experience in retail, eCommerce, or consumer products Inventory Expert: You have a deep understanding of inventory accounting and systemsData Driven: You are a power user in Excel and feel right at home navigating complex databases.Agile & Authentic: You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with a Keep It Real communication style.Bonus Gear: Experience with JD Edwards or RetailPro is a major plus, but not a dealbreaker.
