Podiatry & Wound Care SpecialistLocation: Primarily local with travel to Memphis, TN (once every 2 months for 4 days)Job Type: Full-Time / ContractPosition Overview:FootCareUSA is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physician Assistant with strong experience in podiatry and wound care to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a go-getter and problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about improving patient outcomes in homecare and nursing facility settings.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive podiatric and wound care services to patients in homecare facilities and nursing homes.Perform wound assessments, debridements, dressing changes, graft applications, and wound VAC management as needed.Conduct routine and urgent podiatric evaluations, including diabetic foot care, ulcer prevention, and post-operative follow-up.Document all encounters thoroughly in compliance with facility and company standards.Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.ravel periodically to Memphis, Chattanooga, and Knoxville to provide on-site patient care in designated facilities (approximately every 2 months for 4-day trips)Serve as a resourceful and proactive team member, capable of identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions in patient care.Qualifications:Current and valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.Minimum of 2 years of experience in podiatry and/or wound care.Strong clinical skills in wound assessment, treatment planning, and procedural wound care.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Ability to work independently and adapt to various care environments.Willingness and ability to travel periodically to Memphis.Preferred Skills:Experience with nursing home and homecare patient populations.Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation.Knowledge of diabetic foot care protocols and advanced wound care techniques.Why Join FootCareUSA?Collaborative, supportive team environment.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient quality of life. xijylhu Competitive pay and flexible scheduling for the right candidate.Job Type: Full-timePay: $105,812.47 - $127,430.06 per yearBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offAbility to Commute:Nashville, TN 37207 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Nashville, TN 37207: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
