Inventory Control Coordinator-1st Shift

The Inventory Control Coordinator position involves overseeing daily receiving and storage activities, implementing inventory control strategies, and ensuring accurate inventory cycle counting and reporting. The role requires coordinating scrap materials disposal and return authorizations, fostering cooperation across departments, and resolving inventory control issues to minimize operational impact. Regular communication through department meetings is essential, alongside collaboration with production line supervisors and Buyer/Planners to maintain effective KANBAN inventory levels. Provides the daily coordination of all receiving and stores activities across the site. Reviews and implements all company inventory control strategies and policies to assure consistent application across the site. Performs inventory cycle counting and physical inventories as defined and provides reporting. Ensures that all inventory transactions and stock status reports are completed on a timely basis. Coordinates the disposition of all scrap materials and return authorizations at the site. Cooperate with all departments to ensure a coordinated work relationship always exists. Recognizes and takes steps to resolve inventory control problems to minimize the impact on operations. Maintains consistent communication through department meetings.
