This role is responsible for translating business objectives into scalable, secure Salesforce architectures while establishing delivery standards and architectural guardrails.The ideal candidate is a confident architectural leader who can partner closely with product, delivery, and engineering teams, challenge assumptions when necessary, and ensure solutions align with enterprise integration and data governance standards.Engagement DetailsContract Duration: ASAP through June 30 (minimum)Opportunity to extend and/or convert to full-timeLocation: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)Team & Technical EnvironmentYou will join a team of Salesforce developers supporting three active delivery teams. The work is already in progress, requiring a candidate who can ramp up quickly and provide immediate architectural value.The enterprise technology ecosystem includes:Salesforce (multi-cloud, multi-org environment)MuleSoftKafka / event-driven architectureData360Exposure to Salesforce AI capabilities (Agentforce experience is a plus)Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead Salesforce solution architecture across Owner Lifecycle initiativesTranslate business outcomes into scalable, well-governed Salesforce solutionsEstablish and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and guardrailsServe as an embedded architectural partner to delivery teams by:Participating in SCRUM ceremonies, refinement sessions, and planning discussionsChallenging scope, estimates, timelines, and cost assumptions when appropriateProvide architectural leadership and direction (advisory-focused, not hands-on development)Any hands-on contribution would be limited to proof-of-concept (POC) workCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors as neededConfidently guide architectural decisions and push back when product or delivery teams attempt to overstep architectural boundariesEnsure seamless integration with enterprise systems using MuleSoft APIs, Kafka, and event-driven patternsRequired Qualifications10+ years of overall application development experience5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience in enterprise environmentsProven experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutionsMulti-cloud Salesforce experienceSales Cloud requiredMarketing xijylhu Cloud exposure preferredExperience working in multi-org environments and/or Salesforce consolidation initiativesStrong understanding of:MuleSoft integrationsEvent-driven architectures (Kafka preferred)Excellent communication skills with the ability to present clearly to technical and executive stakeholdersAbility to ramp quickly and operate effectively in a fast-paced, active delivery environmentPreferred QualificationsBackground as a Salesforce Developer (5-7 years) prior to moving into architectureExperience with:Salesforce AI / AgentforceData360Tableau or CRM analytics toolsSalesforce certifications beyond core requirementsCertifications (Highly Valued)1-2 architect-level Salesforce certifications strongly preferred, including:Salesforce Application ArchitectSalesforce System Architect#IT123
