This role is hands-on and business-critical, supporting our core infrastructure, users, and company ERP system.The Systems Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations, with a strong emphasis on administering and supporting our ERP platform, which runs on HTML-based applications and Microsoft SQL Server. This role is ideal for a systems administrator who is comfortable working with databases at an administrative and troubleshooting level, without being a dedicated DBA.This position supports facilities in Sedro-Woolley, Everett, and Bothell, WA.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSystems & InfrastructureInstall, configure, and maintain workstation, server, network hardware and softwareMonitor system health, performance, and availability across servers and applicationsCoordinate software updates and upgrades, test new features, and ensure compatibility prior to deploymentManage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for servers and databasesCreate, maintain, and update technical documentation for systems, applications, databases, configurations, procedures, and processes to ensure knowledge sharingParticipate in IT security audits and vulnerability assessmentsProvide on-call support for critical system issues outside regular business hours ERP & Database Administration (Primary Focus)Administer, support, and troubleshoot the company ERP system running on HTML-based applications and Microsoft SQL ServerManage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of Microsoft SQL Server Standard instancesPerform database maintenance tasks including backups, restores, patching, permissions, and basic performance monitoringAssist with SQL query troubleshooting, data validation, and resolving ERP-related data or performance issuesSupport and maintain SQL databases for SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PDM, and ERP systemsWork with vendors, internal stakeholders, and MSPs on ERP upgrades, fixes, and integrationsCloud, Security & Specialized SystemsAdminister and maintain Azure Government Cloud environmentsManage user access, security controls, and compliance-related configurationsSupport connectivity and security of networked industrial equipment and systemsMaintain inventory of IT hardware, software, mobile devices, and VoIP phone systemsEnd User & Project SupportRespond to and resolve IT support tickets and assistance to end usersMaintain inventory of IT assets, hardware, and softwareTravel as required between facilitiesRequirements:Requirements5+ years of experience as an IT Technician or similar roleStrong knowledge of workstations, servers, and networking systemsStrong Knowledge of PDM, SolidWorks software, and SQL Database structures Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving basic computer issuesExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detailStrong verbal and writing skills in EnglishUS CitizenPreferred QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldTechnical Certifications are a plus: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Knowledge of NIST 800-171 and CMMC requirementsKnowledge of Azure and cloud environmentsKnowledge of SQL and databases.Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position requires moderate physical activity, primarily in an office environment but may include visits to the manufacturing facilities or jobsites to collaborate and inspect materials. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly seated at a computer desk with the option to stand, is utilizing the telephone frequently, and participating in meetings with colleagues, clients, third party vendors, etc. There are stairs in the office. In the factory setting, you may inspect and handle materials and be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors.
