This role ensures the system is secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and fully aligned with DIR's cloud-first enterprise architecture.The Architect will be assigned full-time and will work closely with DIR technical teams to support data integration, analytics, document management, and near real-time data movement into the DIR Enterprise Data Platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud PlatformLead infrastructure design, security controls, and compliance alignmentEnsure performance, scalability, and availability of the Courts solutionArchitect integrations between the Courts system and:DIR Enterprise Data LakeBigQueryLookerData Fusion / DataplexEnterprise Document Management System (EDMS) hosted on GCPSupport near real-time transactional data transfer to the Enterprise Data PlatformImplement cost optimization strategies and monitor cloud resource utilizationCollaborate with DIR stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsProvide technical guidance and documentation to support long-term operational sustainabilityMandatory QualificationsMinimum three (3) years of experience in virtualization or cloud-native architectures using Google Cloud PlatformMinimum three (3) years of experience serving specifically as a GCP ArchitectExperience completing two (2) full lifecycle project implementations using GCPEach project must include:BigQueryLookerGoogle data processing technologies (e.g., Data Fusion, Dataplex)Performance and scalability optimizationDemonstrated experience in security, compliance, and infrastructure managementStrong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersMust be assigned full-timePreferred ExperienceExperience supporting enterprise data platforms or data lakesFamiliarity with public-sector security and compliance requirementsExperience integrating document management systems in cloud environmentsInterested in hearing more?
