The more experience, the higher the demand.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and project specifications.Physical stamina to work hours on your feet and do physically demanding tasks. Willingness to do job-specific certifications if needed, which could be: Rigging and Signaling Certification, Confined Space Training Certification, OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training.Driver's license and dependable transportation to and from job sites.Minimum age requirement: 18+.Here's what you'll be doing:Assembling, installing, and repairing water, sewer and storm drainage underground pipes and fittings. Laying and securing metallic and PVC pipes, including ductile iron, steel and concrete pipe. Preparing trenches by directing excavation, grading and leveling to allow proper pipe placement. Assisting equipment operators in guiding and setting pipes.Mounting and running pipe lasers and transits to determine proper installation. xijylhu Leak testing of pipes and measuring, cutting and installing pipes to specifications.
