The role involves supporting sterile compounding operations in a clean room setting, primarily within cancer center pharmacy services.Location: Glendale, CASchedule:Monday to Friday8:00 AM to 5:00 PMType: Contract to Hire (13 weeks)Responsibilities include:Preparing sterile compounded medications following strict protocolsTraveling to various Valley sites including Northridge, Mission Hills, Van Nuys, Burbank, Santa Clarita, Glendale, and Tarzana to provide sterile compounding supportCompleting comprehensive training in Los Angeles for two months to ensure mastery of procedures and safety standardsMaintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality assurance practicesQualifications and Desired Experience:Active California Pharmacy Technician licensePTCB certification1-2 years of recent sterile compounding experience, preferably within oncologyIV certification and familiarity with RX - IV and RX - Oncology preferredWillingness and ability to travel to multiple site locations after training completionThis position offers a chance to work within a specialized cancer center team where your expertise directly contributes to patient care through precise and safe medication preparation.
