This role replaces a departing paralegal whose cases are current and well-maintained; there is no backlog or cleanup required.This position is ideal for a paralegal who thrives on autonomy, takes ownership of their work, and values professionalism, clear boundaries, and mutual respect.Compensation:$55,000 - $75,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Draft original petitions, answers, counterpetitions, motions, discovery, and ordersPrepare and manage discovery (requests, responses, supplementation)Draft mediation summaries and trial prep materialsMaintain client communication and manage expectationsCalendar and track deadlinesCommunicate with opposing counsel professionally and strategicallyAssist attorneys in trial preparationQualifications:Only applicants with relevant Family Law experience will be considered for this position.3+ years of Texas family law experience (required)Strong drafting ability (samples may be requested)Experience managing a large caseloadProficient in e-filing and Texas court proceduresOrganized, detail-oriented, and deadline-drivenAbout CompanyWe are a small, well-established Texas family law firm.
