On Call Freelance IT Support Specialist for Mac

We're a 10-person training company serving advertising and digital marketing agencies, and we're looking for Seattle-based freelance IT support.Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.This is not a full-time role. We typically need 10-15 hours per month, with flexibility across the week. Although part-time, this role is a core part of our team. You'll provide day-to-day support for our Mac-based environment and proactively recommend improvements to our systems and infrastructure.Because some issues require hands-on hardware support, you must be Seattle-based and able to come into our office approximately once every month or two. Most support can be handled remotely.What we're looking for:* 6+ years providing IT support* Strong Apple / macOS experience (especially MacBooks)* Experience with UniFi networking* Familiarity with Google Workspace (including Gmail), Microsoft 365 / Office 365, and Microsoft Exchange* Comfortable supporting Zoom and other common business tools* Experience coordinating with ISPs (e.g., CenturyLink, Comcast)* Resourceful and proactive in identifying and resolving issues* Responsive, with strong follow-through and attention to detailResponsibilities:* Maintain user devices (hardware and software)* Troubleshooting the office network (wired and wireless)* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (hardware, OS, applications)* Manage security best practices and password management* Set up, monitor, and maintain backups (systems, schedules, and security)* Coordinate with vendors (Microsoft 365, Zoom, ISP, etc.) to ensure service quality* Provide staff training as needed* Track hours, monitor IT spend, and submit invoices* Be available for occasional onsite work (about monthly or every other month)*To apply, please submit all of the following:*1.
