We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, manage, and secure on-premise and cloud infrastructure. This role requires strong expertise across network engineering, server administration, cloud identity management, and cybersecurity, with ownership over reliability, performance, and security in a hybrid IT environment.Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Key Responsibilities* Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure including Windows Server 2022, Cisco switches, and Fortinet firewalls, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.* Lead infrastructure operations in AWS and Microsoft Azure, including deployments, optimization, and security best practices.* Design and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) across AWS and Azure, enforcing least-privilege access and security governance.* Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, device compliance, security policies, user access control and SSO.* Deploy and manage Azure Active Directory / Entra ID integrations with on-prem Active Directory environments.* Serve as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure, network, and security incidents.* Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to troubleshoot, optimize connectivity, and manage outages.* Coordinate with third party vendors and MSP's.* Conduct and oversee vulnerability assessments, analyze risks, and implement remediation strategies.* Perform Security Risk Assessments (SRA) and ensure compliance with internal security standards and best practices.* Design, configure, and support secure VPN solutions for remote and hybrid workforce access.* Architect and manage UniFi WiFi infrastructure, ensuring secure and high-performance wireless connectivity.* Deploy, manage, and optimize Active Directory services, including Domain Controllers, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and identity lifecycle management.* Oversee Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) systems, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and hardware replacements.* Monitor infrastructure performance, enforce security controls, and proactively recommend improvements.Required Qualifications* Extensive experience with Windows Server 2022, Cisco switching, and Fortinet firewall platforms.* Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, particularly IAM and identity security.* Proven experience managing Microsoft Intune for endpoint security and device management.* Deep knowledge of VPN technologies, secure access, and network segmentation.* Experience conducting vulnerability scans, threat mitigation, and security hardening.* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, IAM governance, and best practices.* Experience managing UniFi wireless solutions in production environments.* Proven ability to work with ISPs and lead infrastructure incident resolution.* Strong experience deploying and managing Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.Preferred Qualifications* Certifications such as AWS, Azure, MCSE, CCNA, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.* Experience with infrastructure monitoring and security tools.* Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. xijylhu * Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceEducation:* Bachelor's (Preferred)Location:* Miramar, FL 33027 (Required)Work Location: In person
