Automotive Service Advisor

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless service experience. This role involves coordinating between customers and our skilled technicians to deliver exceptional automotive service, while also identifying opportunities for upselling additional services and repairs.*Duties** Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and understanding their vehicle concerns.* Write detailed service orders, accurately documenting customer complaints and vehicle issues.* Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics, repairs needed, and estimated timeframes.* Manage service writing processes efficiently to ensure timely vehicle turnaround.* Handle cash transactions accurately when applicable.* Follow up with customers on vehicle status and ensure satisfaction upon completion of work.* Maintain knowledge of current automotive repair techniques and industry standards to advise customers appropriately.* Make Appointments for customers* Ordering parts for technicians as they need them and getting pre-approval for repairs if required*Skills** Automotive knowledge and service writing experience* Familiarity with a wide range of automotive systems including, oil changes, alignment, suspension components, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repair.* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.* Experience in auto service writing* Multi tasking* Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and use of credit card machine* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple service orders simultaneously. xijylhu Join our team to provide outstanding automotive care while advancing your career in a fast-paced dealership environment!Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 17 - 40 per weekWork Location: In person
