You will be part of a small, but growing team.*Overview *Delval Equipment is seeking a highly technical Software Engineer to own and evolve our core business systems, with primary responsibility for NetSuite and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure.This role works closely with Operations, Sales, and Leadership to design, build, and maintain systems that directly support revenue and execution. You will be expected to operate with strong technical fundamentals, write production-quality code, and solve unfamiliar problems independently.This is not a ticket-driven support role. This is a systems ownership role.*What You'll Own **ERP & Application Engineering (Primary Focus) ** Architect, develop, and maintain NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.x* Design workflows, custom records, and scalable data structures* Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware* Write and maintain backend automation scripts (Python or similar)* Optimize NetSuite performance and data integrity* Design reporting structures that support operational and executive decision-making* Partner with Operations and Sales to improve and/or automate processes and eliminate friction*Systems Architecture & Cloud (Azure) ** Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure* Manage Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, and identity governance* Implement secure cloud architecture and best practices* Design backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies* Apply DevOps concepts including CI/CD, version control, and automated deployments* Monitor system performance and implement observability practices*Engineering & Technical Leadership ** Design clean, maintainable, well-documented solutions* Apply database fundamentals (schema design, indexing, query optimization)* Perform root-cause analysis across application and infrastructure layers* Reduce manual work through automation* Maintain architecture documentation and technical standards* Act as the technical bridge between business stakeholders and systems*Required Qualifications ** Experience in a systems engineering, software engineering, ERP engineering, or similar role.* Strong hands-on NetSuite development experience (SuiteScript 2.x required)* Strong software development ability (Python and Javascript required; other scripting languages a plus)* Solid understanding of database design and data modeling* Experience with APIs and system integrations* Strong grasp of networking fundamentals and identity/access management* Understanding of DevOps principles and version control workflows* Experience administering Microsoft Azure* Ability to independently investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex system issues*What We're Looking For ** Strong technical fundamentals "” understands how systems work under the hood* "I can figure it out" mindset and comfort tackling unfamiliar problems* High ownership and accountability* Clear communicator who can work effectively with Ops, Sales, and Leadership* Pragmatic builder who balances speed, scalability, and stability*What Success Looks Like ** NetSuite supports operational growth without constant friction* Integrations are reliable and maintainable* Azure infrastructure is secure and well-structured* Manual processes are automated over time* Leadership has confidence in system reliability and data integrity*Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement*Delval Equipment is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
