Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time, onsite registered nurse position is available in Camden, NJ, supporting a unique school-based job transition program for young adults aged 18-21. The role focuses on providing one-on-one nursing care to a student as they develop essential work skills across various community job sites. This contract opportunity runs immediately through June 17th, 2026, with regular hours from 7:05 a.m. to 2:05 p.m., Monday through Friday.Key Responsibilities:Deliver one-on-one nursing care for a student participating in a job transition program designed to prepare them for employment after graduationMonitor the students medical condition closely, with particular attention to their seizure disorderAdminister prescribed medications and respond promptly to any medical needs or emergenciesAccompany the student to off-campus job sites, ensuring their health and safety in diverse workplace environmentsMaintain accurate documentation of medical interventions and observationsCommunicate effectively with program staff, healthcare providers, and families to support the students wellbeingQualifications & Experience:Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licenseExperience in school nursing or providing care to adolescents with special medical needs preferredComfort working independently in community settings outside of a traditional clinical environmentAbility to recognize and respond to seizure activity and other health concerns promptlyStrong organization and communication skillsBenefits of this role include a structured daytime schedule conducive to work-life balance and the rewarding opportunity to support a students transition to independence and employment.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to contribute essential nursing expertise to this impactful educational program.Compensation for this position ranges from $32.70 to $52.70.
