Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Occupational Therapist School-Based (Travel Assignment)Location: Aurora, CO (Denver Area)Assignment Dates: August 6, 2026 May 26, 2027Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through FridayThis full-time, onsite occupational therapy position within the Aurora Public Schools offers a dynamic environment serving school-aged children. Caseload and school assignments will vary, providing an opportunity to work across different campuses within the Denver area. This travel-based role is ideal for occupational therapists with an active Colorado DOE certification and OT license who seek a stable, rewarding school year contract.Key Responsibilities:Deliver occupational therapy services to school-aged children, addressing a range of developmental, physical, and sensory needs to promote student participation and success.Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.Maintain compliance with all state and school district regulations and documentation standards.Qualifications:Active Colorado Department of Education certification in Occupational Therapy.Valid Colorado Occupational Therapy license.Experience working within a school or educational setting preferred, with 0-10+ years of professional practice considered.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Flexibility and adaptability to serve varying campus assignments throughout the school year.Benefits & Perks:Opportunity to gain diverse experience across multiple school settings in the Denver area.Structured full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.Supportive environment emphasizing collaboration and student-centered care.This role begins with the 2026-2027 academic year, and interviews are currently underway.
