Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school district in Springfield, MA, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide critical ESY (Extended School Year) support for a backlog of students across grades K-12. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to student success by addressing unique educational and psychological needs during the summer and extended service periods.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions for K-12 students.Conduct evaluations to identify learning needs and support special education eligibility.Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop personalized education plans.Provide consultation and guidance regarding student behavior, learning challenges, and emotional well-being.Support the backlog of students requiring ESY services, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.Qualifications:Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state.Experience working with K-12 student populations in school settings.Strong skills in psychological assessment, counseling, and data interpretation.Ability to work independently and manage caseloads during contract period.Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with school staff and families.Location:Springfield, MassachusettsThis contract opportunity is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic education environment and values contributing directly to student growth and well-being.
