Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school-based Occupational Therapist position is available in Oakland, CA, to support an elementary caseload. This role involves providing direct, in-person therapy services one day per week (7 hours), focusing on helping students develop and enhance their fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills within the school setting.Responsibilities include:Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify student needsDeveloping and implementing individualized treatment plansCollaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progressDocumenting therapy sessions and monitoring student outcomesAdapting interventions to meet the diverse needs of the elementary caseloadDesired qualifications and experience:Valid Occupational Therapist licenseExperience working in school settings preferredKnowledge of pediatric OT strategies and school-based service deliveryStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently during in-person sessionsThis is a contract position with a commitment of 7 hours per week, scheduled on a single day.
