Job DescriptionThe experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school in Canyon Country, CA, offering the opportunity to work with K-6th grade students. This role requires on-site commitment with a moderate to severe caseload and provides a consistent schedule at one school site. The assignment is travel-based within California and ideally starts in March, continuing through the end of the school year in June, the summer session, and potentially renewing for the following school year.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with moderate to severe communication disorders.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and educators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies.Qualifications and Experience:Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience working in a school setting preferred.Ability to manage a moderate to severe caseload efficiently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff.Willingness to commit to on-site work hours and follow school day schedules.Schedule and Work Environment:Full-time position with work hours starting between 7:30-8:00 AM and ending between 2:45-3:45 PM.Up to 40 hours per week.One school site only.Supported by two other full-time therapists on campus.Interviews conducted via Zoom Monday through Friday.This role is ideal for SLPs interested in school-based therapy and providing impactful services within a supportive team environment.
