Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An experienced RN specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures is sought for a contract position in Warner Robins, GA. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-acuity, multidisciplinary surgical team within a Level 1 Trauma and Teaching Hospital, recognized for its Chest Pain and Stroke Center designations.Responsibilities include providing perioperative nursing care for a diverse range of surgical cases including cardiovascular (open heart, valve replacement), general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and robotics-assisted procedures. You will work in a 20 OR room setting equipped with advanced technology like EPIC Optime (Intraop), Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Phillips monitoring systems. Ensuring patient safety and maintaining adherence to surgical protocols while supporting team collaboration are essential.Schedule:10-hour day shifts, 7 AM to 5 PMApproximately 40 hours/weekCall rotation (14 calls per 6-week schedule)Weekend and holiday call requirements includedParticipation in scheduling and shift flexibility discussed during interviewQualifications:Active RN license with BLS certification requiredMinimum 5 years of CVOR experience preferred; 2 years for general OR backgrounds consideredSurgical Technology Certification (CST) preferred but not mandatoryAbility to work cohesively within a teamwork-oriented unit culture focused on safety and inclusionLocation:Warner Robins is a vibrant city in central Georgia known for its community-oriented atmosphere, rich cultural events, and proximity to outdoor recreational areas.
