Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specialization is needed for a contract role in Perry, GA. This position involves caring for patients undergoing a wide array of surgical procedures in a facility recognized for its Level 1 Trauma Designation, teaching excellence, and specialized centers in chest pain and stroke care.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert nursing care in 20 operating room suites and 2 cystoscopy rooms.Support patients through diverse surgeries including general, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular procedures such as open heart and vascular surgeries.Utilize advanced technology such as EPIC Optime EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication systems, and Phillips monitors.Participate in weekend call rotations and holiday on-call requirements.Comply with the hospital's safety, teamwork, and inclusion standards.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a General OR setting; 5 years preferred in CVOR.Active RN license with BLS certification required.Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred, with graduation from an accredited program.Ability to work 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am shifts, with a 6-week scheduling cycle.Willingness to engage in orientation and ongoing training.Location Overview:Perry, GA, offers a welcoming community with easy access to medical facilities and essential amenities.
