DescriptionSkills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.We are seeking an experienced and motivated Building Automation System (BAS) Trainer to develop and deliver high-quality technical training programs for our technicians, project engineers, project managers, and sales teams.This role is ideal for a strong BAS professional who enjoys mentoring others, building structured training programs, and helping develop the next generation of controls professionals.Pay Range: $110,000+, negotiable based on experienceKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver BAS training programs for technical and non-technical staffLead hands-on and classroom training for:Niagara FrameworkDistech Controls systemsBelimo devicesSupport and enhance our BAS apprenticeship and VAV box training programsCreate and maintain training materials aligned with company standards and manufacturer documentationPartner with Operations, Technology, and Sales leadership to align training with business needsCollaborate with workforce development programs such as JTECH to strengthen our BAS talent pipelineTrack trainee progress and competency benchmarksTravel monthly to Brooks offices for in-person instruction and coachingSkills, Knowledge and Expertise5+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems or HVAC controlsStrong hands-on experience with Niagara, Distech Controls, and Belimo systemsExperience in training, mentoring, or leading technical teams preferredStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to translate technical concepts into practical, field-ready skillsHighly organized with strong curriculum and documentation skillsWhy Work at Brooks Building Solutions?Brooks Building Solutions is a Metro Jacksonville Top Workplace (2024, 2025, & 2026) and a leader in HVAC, building automation, and energy-efficient solutions for commercial buildings.
