Senior Drupal Application Tester

*ITCON Services* seeks a *Senior Drupal Application Tester* to conduct Quality Assurance activities to support the testing of complex Drupal-based websites. This is a 5-year contracted position at the U.S. House of Representatives where the preferred web platform is Drupal, with the majority of current websites on Drupal. The House manages these internal websites for 10,000+ House staff.Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.*Job Description*Provide expert support in analysis and reporting of web-related activities and projects throughout the Software and Testing Life Cycle. Communicate complex and/or technical information to a broad range of audiences. Provide managers with objective information to support decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of Directorate operations, including quality assurance, software testing, development, project management, product management and change management processes*Responsibilities** Develop Test Strategies and Plans* Build test scripts for manual and automated testing* Support other testing activities and communications* Engage external groups for testing in a coordinated effort* Introduce tools for performing tests and audits* Formulating testing processes and procedures* Investigate/research issues, determine impact, and provide solutions for improving product quality* Support testing related to database, website, CMS development and/or configuration using technologies such as HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS3, .NET, Drupal, SharePoint, Access, SQL, PHP, etc.* Support development team in debugging and fixing issues throughout Software and Testing Life Cycle* Support the development of project artifacts and documentation such as progress reports, analytics, data collections, schedules, and presentations*Skills / Technologies** Development and execution of test strategies and plans* Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and accessibility features.* Testing leveraging Agile SCRUM Methodology* Manual and automated testing on Drupal 10.x and 11.x* Knowledge of accessibility testing guidelines and relevant tools, including screen reader software (JAWS, NVDA, Talkback, Voiceover) and other relevant accessibility testing tools* Demonstrated expertise in Drupal content management testing, including experience with content types, taxonomies, and workflows* Experience testing complex integrations, third-party APIs, and custom Drupal Modules* Compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, Section 508* Migration testing from Drupal 10 to 11* Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as ClickUp or Jira. xijylhu *Qualifications** Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline, or equivalent related experience.* 10+ years in field of Information Technology and software Quality Assurance with a minimum of 4+ years of experience testing Drupal-based website* Strong understanding of accessibility (Section 508 and WCAG 2.1/2.2) compliance requirementsJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $52.00 - $62.62 per hourBenefits:* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time offWork Location: Hybrid remote in Washington, DC 20515
