With a culture built on safety, service, fun and friendliness, integrity, innovation, and results orientation, our mission at Six Flags New England is to create fun and thrills for all ages.Pay Starting at $16.25/HourEnsure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.Responsibilities:Performing general repair and alteration of various costumesOperating sewing equipmentAssisting in the laundering of costumesConstructing special costumes and specialty show projects as assignedMaintaining the structural integrity and design of the Licensed Characters as to not distort the appearance of the charactersMaintaining a clean and safe environment for Guests and Team MembersComplying with all Six Flags New England policies and proceduresPerforming other incidental and related duties as required and assignedQualifications:Knowledge of clothing construction, alterations, and repairPrevious experience preferred in any or all of the following; serger, industrial machines & other tools to assist in maintenance of costumesPrevious theatrical costume experience helpfulSelf-Motivated skills to work independently, without direct supervisionAbility to interact in a professional and positive manner with large groups of peopleValid Driver's license and clean driving record helpful in fulfilling errands and supply xijylhu ordersSense of funWilling to work in a high performance team environmentWilling to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAble to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language18 years old or older
