The incumbent will perform professional medical duties while undergoing advanced professional training in Family Medicine with a focus on Obstetrics and Gynecology. The incumbent will participate in the clinical medical training of residents at the Dignity Health Methodist Hospital of Sacramento Family Medicine Residency program that meets and exceed the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Special Requirements for Graduate Training in Family Medicine, with an emphasis on outpatient and inpatient obstetrical care. This position is responsible for presenting didactic lectures, integrating family medicine principles with the medical curriculum for the resident physicians. The incumbent may additionally precept in the family practice center and both supervise and conduct general medical care to the residency program patients.
