Physician Hospitalist - Competitive Salary

Job DescriptionTeamHealth has a new day shift position opening at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center in Austin, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule with shifts from 7am to 7pm, 12pm to 12am, and 7pm to 7am.Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is a level II trauma designated facility with 175 beds. During the day shift (7a-7p) there are a total of 6 physicians working; 5 rounding physicians with 1 dedicated admitter, 1 swing physician (12p-12a) who handles 10 admissions, and 1 hospitalist that rounds in an acute inpatient rehab.  At night (7p-7a), we have one nocturnist physician and one nurse practitioner who handle roughly 10 admissions in total. There is full specialty back-up support in place as well as a rapid response team to handle codes.
