This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide outpatient and inpatient care while also playing a pivotal role in designing and developing a new solo endocrinology practice, supported by a robust referral network and a highly collaborative clinical team. Opportunity Highlights Design and Lead a New Endocrinology Practice - Spearhead the development of a solo endocrinology service line, tailoring it to meet the unique needs of the community and establishing a lasting impact on patient care.Outpatient and Inpatient Care - Manage a wide variety of endocrine conditions, including diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, and gestational), thyroid diseases, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic diseases.Diagnostic Expertise - Perform diagnostic procedures such as thyroid ultrasounds, biopsies, and interpret imaging studies to assess and diagnose endocrine disorders.Collaborative Multidisciplinary Team - Work closely with other specialties, including family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, and nephrology, to manage complex, co-morbid patient cases and provide holistic care.Patient Education and Lifestyle Management - Educate patients on managing chronic endocrine conditions, focusing on lifestyle modifications and the importance of medication adherence.Flexible Scheduling for Work-Life Balance - Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with flexible hours and limited call requirements, promoting a healthy work-life balance in a community-focused environment. What We OfferCompetitive salary, sign-on, and relocation assistanceSalary Range: $300-330k annually + productivity incentivesSign-On Bonus: Up to $40kRelocation Assistance: Up to $20kPSLF Eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness)Comprehensive health benefits including 100% employer-paid medical and dental for you and your familyMalpractice insuranceGenerous paid time off401(k) plan with employer matchingEmployer-sponsored pension planCME allowance of $2,000 annuallyJob RequirementsMD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in EndocrinologyCalifornia Medical License (or ability to obtain) and DEA CertificationExperience or interest in designing and developing a new endocrinology service lineDemonstrated interest in chronic disease management and preventive careExcellent communication skills and commitment to team-based, patient-centered careAbility to work independently and contribute to the establishment of a new endocrinology practiceWhere You'll WorkDignity Health Medical Group - Merced, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is a well-established, physician-led medical group providing high-quality medical services to patients in California's Central Valley.
