Our company provides Psychiatry services for all ages, in person and telehealth. We are located in Cherry Creek and Lakewood, and plan to expand into another location in the next year. Every member of the team will have access to the owners of the company, and we'll be looking for your input on how we can best serve our patients and community as we expand! We are expanding our TMS services, Spravato (nasal ketamine) and group therapy. In the next year, we'll need you to help enhance these services and lead a full suite of options for our patients.We would be open to talking with new graduates. The company has over 4.5 stars in online reviews; very high for behavioral health!Psychiatrist Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, manage, and treat patientsWrite prescriptions and provide patient education on: prescriptions, ketamine, TMS, and psychotherapyCoordinate treatment among other medical specialists and therapistsCommunicate with patients, physicians, and other members of the health care teamParticipate in continuing education for continuing certification processes for one's licensure requirementsPerforms counseling within the scope of clinical practiceObtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority per Colorado State Board Medical Examiner regulationsEstablishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with other health care providers as appropriateSupervise and train prescribers and therapists in evidence-based treatment modalitiesAdditional compensation for supervision of more than 4 Physician Assistants Compensation & Benefits:Compensation: Base Salary of $180,000 + RVUs; paid bi-weekly 401(k) retirement plan with employer match up to 4%Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependents*HSA (with employer contribution) and FSA options to help manage healthcare and dependent care expenses*Employer-paid life insurance and AD&D coverage*Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with confidential mental health and life support resources*Generous paid time off and additional paid holidays*Case consultation with colleaguesWeekly, clinical supervision and ongoing support as required for clinical licensure$4000 towards Continued Education and up to 2 paid days of CELicense fees/malpractice/DEA coveredBilling, credentialing, scheduling, and intake supportFlexible scheduling (no weekends or evenings!)Limited call component for emergencies, no in person call requirement*Indicates benefits available only to full-time W-2 EmployeesRequirementsPsychiatrist Requirements:Active, unrestricted medical license in ColoradoBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist (MD required)Degree from an accredited medical school, plus completion of an approved psychiatric residencyPossess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration ("DEA") number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substancesExcellent knowledge and familiarity with current DSM-5 criteriaStrong functional knowledge of general psychiatric principles and practicesMaintain license void of personal and/or professional misconductBe able to pass a background check including all educational requirements and licensingMinimum of 2 years of clinical practice experienceComfortable treating patients across the lifespan (ages 5-80)Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment About Denver Wellness AssociatesDenver Wellness Associates is a comprehensive mental health care practice dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their journey toward lasting well-being.
