Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A dynamic opportunity for a Physical Therapist experienced in school settings is available within the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, specifically serving multiple schools in Central and North-Central Durham. This full-time contract role offers the chance to support a diverse caseload of approximately 30-40 students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.Key Responsibilities:Provide therapeutic services to students in 5-9 schools, adjusting visits based on each school's specific needs (1-2 visits per month for some).Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.Manage a caseload comprising students of varying ages and therapeutic requirements.Attend and contribute to team meetings and student evaluations to enhance service delivery.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies.Qualifications and Experience:Active Physical Therapy licensure is required.Demonstrated experience working as a Physical Therapist in school environments is essential.Ability to handle a caseload of 30-40 students with diverse therapy needs.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple school visits and schedules.Flexibility and adaptability to meet district requirements and changes.Work Schedule and Location:Full-time position, approximately 37.5 hours per week.School bell schedules vary: Elementary 7:45 AM - 2:15 PM, Middle School 8:30 AM - 3:15 PM, High School 9:15 AM - 4:15 PM.On-site presence required at multiple schools primarily located in Central and North-Central Durham.This contract assignment is set to begin immediately and continues through June 10, 2026.
