We currently have 18 Southern and Central California clinics to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a full-time or part-time Urgent Care Staff Physician for our Bakersfield, CA region. Key Responsibilities:Urgent Care Physician practices twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.Full-time is 12 monthly shifts, 2 on-call shifts, and managing mid-level providers.Part-time is a minimum of 6 shifts per month, and managing mid-level providersTreat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.Equipment: We offer in-house Point-of-Care testing and X-rays.A Board-Certified Radiologist reads all X-rays, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minuteQualifications:Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training ProgramCA Medical License that is active and in good standingDEA CertificateAbout Us:Our doors opened in 2012, in Bakersfield, CA.
