Job DescriptionSubmit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a board-certified/board eligible fellowship-trained Laryngologist to join an established Laryngology practice within a comprehensive Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery department in Sacramento, California. This is a unique quasi-academic opportunity. This includes a busy regional referral-based practice and academic exposure with resident rotations from three sites as well as research opportunities.  Our medical center features state-of-the-art laryngology equipment and support in both clinic and operating venues to provide full service laryngology-based care.The nine OHNS physicians in the department provide a full range of services including general otolaryngology, otology/neurotology, endocrine surgery, sleep surgery, rhinology, and head and neck oncologic surgery.  We work closely with our colleagues in maxillofacial surgery, orofacial medicine, plastic surgery, sleep medicine, and neurosurgery.  Our medical center enjoys a strong affiliation with the University of California at Davis, serving as a teaching hospital for residents in many specialties, including one full-time OHNS resident. Special Note:  Department leadership is also open to Board Certified/Board Eligible General ENT candidates interested in expanding their practice scope to include Laryngology by-way of completing an in-house fellowship with our senior Laryngologist in South Sacramento.The Kaiser Health Plan is the largest and most experienced integrated health-care system in the country.  Established over 80 years ago, our program has received national awards of excellence and continues to serve as a health-care leader and the model for health care reform nationally, as well as internationally.  The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is a physician owned and managed multispecialty group associated with Kaiser Health Plan, with over 10,000 physicians in northern California, 21 medical centers, and covering over 4.6 million members and is the largest and most successful medical group in the United States.  We offer a very competitive salary, flexible schedule, and an outstanding benefits and retirement package.  Please go to our website at   for more information. Sacramento boasts warm weather and year-round recreational activities.  The American College of Sports Medicine has ranked Sacramento as one of the Top Ten Cities on a Health and Fitness Index, and Sacramento has been called the "Farm-to-fork" capitol of California, boasting a strong, ethnically-diverse foodie scene.  There is also an active artist community, including art galleries, museums, and music productions.
