Job DescriptionPlease make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.We are currently looking for a BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our primary care private practice in Kerrville, TX.Scope of PracticeProvide full-spectrum outpatient family medicine, including preventative care, acute visits, and chronic disease management for all ages.Manage a patient panel weighted towards older adults and Medicare beneficiaries (approximately 25% Medicare, 20% Pediatric, and 55% adults 18-65).Perform standard in-office procedures including, but not limited to: Pap, I&D), basic biopsies, various injections, dermatological lesion removal, and simple suturing.Offer specialized services such as Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and medical weight loss consultation.Administer childhood vaccinations and perform well-child checks.Manage common pathologies ("bread and butter primary care") and well-woman visits.Patient Volume: See an average of 18-10 patients per day, with scheduling adjusted based on the reason for the visit (new patient vs. follow-up)Work Schedule and CoverageClinical Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.Saturday Coverage: Rotating Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM 12:00 PM.Hospital Work: None; strictly outpatient practice.Call: Participate in a rotating schedule for after-hours phone coverage with all full-time providers.Qualifications and RequirementsCredential: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).Board Certification/Eligibility: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.Experience Level: Open to all experience levelsVisa Sponsorship: Not available; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.Language: Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required, as fluent staff translators are available.Team and Practice EnvironmentSupport Staff: Work in a 1:1 relationship with a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).Practice Stability: The practice enjoys good staff retention, with many who have left opting to return, indicating a positive work environment.Mid-Level Providers: The physician will collaborate with experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).Our practice is a proud member of Privia Medical Group, a national physician organization with more than 4,500+ providers with over 1,100+ locations in multiple states. xijylhu Through high-performance physician groups, accountable care organizations, and population health management programs, Privia works in partnership with health plans, health systems and employers to better align reimbursements to quality and outcomes.Contact:Jeanne JenkinsSenior Director, Provider RecruitmentPrivia Medical GroupCall or Text: 517.234.0596
