Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A rewarding opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist experienced in school-based settings to provide specialized care within multiple schools in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. This contract position is full-time, requiring 37.5 hours per week, with assignments at approximately 5 to 9 schools primarily located in Central and North-Central Durham. The role involves working with a caseload of around 30-40 students of varying ages, delivering therapy services that accommodate the unique needs of each educational setting.Key Responsibilities:Provide physical therapy services to students within elementary, middle, and high school environments.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to enhance student outcomes.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and licensure requirements.Adapt caseload and services based on district priorities and student demands.Qualifications:Active Physical Therapist licensure is required.Previous physical therapy experience in a school district is essential.Strong communication skills and ability to work across diverse school schedules.Flexibility to manage variable caseloads and travel to assigned schools.Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining professional standards.Additional Details:Schedule aligns with school bell times: Elementary (7:45 AM2:15 PM), Middle (8:30 AM3:15 PM), High School (9:15 AM4:15 PM).Contract duration from ASAP through June 10, 2026.On-site presence is required to deliver care and collaborate effectively.Prescreen interviews will assess candidate suitability, with flexible scheduling available between 9-11 AM and 2-3 PM EST.This position offers the chance to impact student health and educational achievement through focused physical therapy intervention in a dynamic school environment. xijylhu Professionals with a passion for pediatric care and school-based practice are encouraged to apply to contribute their expertise in supporting student success.
