Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Join a dedicated educational team in the Chattanooga area by providing specialized instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on-site within Hamilton County Schools, supporting students across multiple schools based on their individualized schedules.Key Responsibilities:Deliver tailored instructional support to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, adapting teaching methods to their unique needs.Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Monitor student progress and adjust educational strategies to promote language, communication, and academic growth.Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school district policies.Participate in meetings and professional development relevant to Deaf/Hard of Hearing education.Qualifications:Active Tennessee DOE certification in Deaf Education.Experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students preferred.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to follow student schedules as caseload varies by assignment and location.Position Details:Location: Chattanooga, TN area (on-site only).Contract dates: January 5, 2026 May 21, 2026.Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.Assignments may span multiple schools within the district.This role is a contract teaching opportunity focused on providing essential services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within Hamilton County Schools. xijylhu If you hold the required certification and are passionate about inclusive education, apply today to contribute to meaningful student outcomes in this specialized field.
