Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract opportunity is available for paraprofessionals to provide vital support services across multiple elementary and middle schools in Wilmington, DE. Positions require a commitment from February 9, 2026, through June 11, 2026, working Monday through Friday with scheduled hours varying by site.Key responsibilities include providing one-on-one or group support to students, assisting with emotional and behavioral interventions, and collaborating with educational staff to foster a productive learning environment. Specific caseload assignments are as follows:One position at Lombardy Elementary SchoolTwo positions at Springer Middle School, including one focused on emotional support (female candidates preferred)One position at Forwood Elementary School working as 1:1 support for a 5th-grade studentCandidates must have completed a paraprofessional certificate or hold 60 college credits to qualify for the Delaware Permit required to work in these roles. Applicants without certification must be willing to take and pass the paraprofessional exam before starting. Those with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials are welcome but must secure Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervision prior to the interview.Additional requirements include:Ability to pass an $85 criminal background check fingerprintingFlexibility to work site-specific hours:Mount Pleasant ES and Lombardy ES: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm ESTP.S.
