Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Paraprofessional Opportunities Flint, MI Area (Contract Positions)Seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to support diverse learners in schools throughout the Flint, MI area, including locations near Grand Blanc. These full-time contract roles provide essential assistance in resource and self-contained classrooms for students with cognitive and emotional impairments across all grade levels.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including those in resource, self-contained, and cognitively or emotionally impaired classrooms.Assist with daily care routines similar to a health aide, including toileting and diapering, for students with cognitive impairments.Offer specialized support for a Braille student.Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance student learning and well-being.Work full-time hours, approximately 37.5 per week, with schedules varying between 7:30/8:30am to 5:30pm depending on the assigned building.Qualifications:Must meet one of the following Title I requirements: Complete at least two years (60 semester hours) of college coursework; OR Hold an associates degree or higher; OR Pass the ETS Parapro Assessment.Copy of transcripts verifying college credits or degree required prior to placement.Experience working with students with cognitive or emotional impairments preferred.Ability to provide personal care support and work collaboratively within a school team.Strong communication and organizational skills.Location:Flint, MI region (including Grand Blanc vicinity)This position offers meaningful work supporting students educational and personal development in a supportive school environment.Interested professionals who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply by submitting a current resume and transcripts. xijylhu This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact through dedicated paraprofessional services in a dynamic educational setting.
