Job DescriptionAll potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.Stable, successful and growing medical practice in Newport Beach is seeking an OB/GYN  physician desiring a long lucrative and fulfilling career in private practice OB/GYN.Job Description:Newport Beach OB/GYN Medical Group, a 30yo practice, is looking to add an additional OB/GYN physician to our busy ever-growing practice. We are committed to fostering a healthy work-life balance with an emphasis on clinical autonomy while providing mentoring and infrastructure to assist in your long-term success as a well-known and respected physician of the community. We offer a competitive base salary, generous benefits package including a profit-sharing 401K, and a clear pathway to partial ownership if desired.  Physicians in good standing that are Board Certified or Board Eligible are encouraged to apply. Our practice provides a stable, competent support staff including long-term mid-level providers and a full-time ultrasound technician.  We are walking distance across the street from Hoag Memorial Hospital where our in-patient OB care and deliveries are provided.  Our GYN surgical procedures are at the local surgery center on the office premises.Physician would be expected to work a 4-day workweek (3-day, if preferred) to care for OB and GYN patients in the office and hospital, provide surgical care as needed and participate in an after-hour Call Duty schedule of 1:15 (approximately 2 Call shifts per month: 5pm 7am weeknights, 24hr shifts (7am-7am) for Saturdays and Sundays). Call duty is predictable and shared equally with all participants for weeknights, weekends and holidays.  You will be provided complete coverage on your scheduled days off.
