Job Description"OB Hospitalist Site DirectorEnsure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.Position Summary:As part of the Ob Hospitalist clinical team, an Ob Hospitalist embraces delivering a quality OB Hospitalist program Value-Based culture.OB Site Director Role:Program Operations to ensure quality care is deliveredBuilding and maintaining relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing staff and administrative leadershipMaintaining relationships with the physician and CNM Ob Hospitalist teamThis position reports to a Market Medical Director (MMD), Medical Director of Operations (MDO) or Vice President of Clinical Operations (VPCO)Will collaborate with the MMD, MDO or VPCO to ensure the clinical team is delivering a quality program that achieves both OBHG's and the hospital's clinical and operational objectivesDirector of Ob Hospitalists is also expected to travel to the hospital as needed to address hospital and hospitalist operational prioritiesTrain & develop new clinicians in the Value-Based cultureCommunicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and expectationsManage minor physician issues and escalate to the MMD, MDO or VPCO as appropriateCollaborate with hospital leadership, MMD, MDO or VPCO and DOO to identify ways to increase hospital Labor and Delivery utilizationShifts:At least five (5) 24-hour (or equivalent) OB hospitalist shifts each 28-day periodBenefits:Health, Life, Vision, Dental401k w/ profit share contribution & Roth optionMalpractice Covered with unlimited tail coverage (lifetime)CME:$2,000 Annual Stipend towardACOG/ACOOG membership duesABOG/AOBOG certification maintenanceSubscriptions, xijylhu License fees for state licensure & more!Clinicians are eligible for coverage with a shift commitment of 5 shifts per 28-day blockRequirements:Board Certified Ob/Gyn PhysicianLicensed to practice medicine in the state of assigned siteHighly relational, able to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with all stakeholders (Hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and OBHG corporate staff)Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care (preferred)#PM #PL"
