This opportunity is nestled between North Alabama and the Tennessee State line. Athens is located on Interstate 65 just 90 miles south of Nashville, 90 miles north of Birmingham and 20 minutes from Huntsville. We have an excellent public school system and are close to several State Universities, and because we are near the space Capital of the south, we live in a high income/high education area. If you like the outdoors, we are also close to recreation areas such as lakes, river, and mountains. Athens is seeking a board certified or board eligible OB/GYN to join a well-established and growing practice. There are currently 3-full-time OB/GYN and 1-part-time OB/GYN and 3 CRNP in the practice. Excellent payer mix with the majority of patients having Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama. Excellent salary and benefits package:Three year employment contract with a competitive income based upon Southern Median percentileYear-end incentive bonus for meeting pre-established quality and patient satisfaction goalsmoving expenses up to $10,000 based on actual receipts$30,000 sign on bonus that can be paid as a stipend over the last year of residency on a monthly basis Quarterly incentive bonus based upon WRVU model for outpatient visits and inpatient admissions as outlined in final contract$3,000 annually for CME, books, periodicals, xijylhu professional memberships, dues; 1 week for CMEfull malpractice insurance including tail coverage after fulfillment of contract50% on the first 5% they contribute to the 401k after 1 year of employmentfull comprehensive benefits package consistent with other employed physicians25 days ETO (Earn time off) at the beginning of your contract.Work out of one hospital potentially growing to 101 beds NO running around to multiple hospitals
