The Section of Pediatric Anesthesiology provides care to more than 30,000 children annually in perioperative anesthesia, critical care, and pain medicine settings. Our pediatric anesthesiologists practice in a collaborative and supportive environment with world-class surgical and medical staff to provide opportunities for developing clinical excellence in a range of subspecialty services, that are integral in the academic, research, educational, and quality improvement missions of the institutions. Opportunity with Pediatric AnesthesiologyJoin an anesthesia service that currently consists of 35 pediatric anesthesiologists with 8 of those specializing in cardiac care, and 12 advanced practice providers that practice at both CWs Milwaukee Campus and regional sites surrounding Milwaukee.Our group of dedicated pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists works exclusively in the cardiac care setting: providing care for 400+ heart surgeries, and 350+ cardiac catheterization procedures annually.Comprehensive pediatric cardiac care within the Herma Heart Institute (HHI), part of the Forward Pediatric Alliance with UW-Health.
