NH NHRMC Internal Medicine residency is part of an innovative learner- centered academic program supporting 23 residents.A successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, a passion for education, interest in teaching in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates must be ABIM Board Eligible/Certified in Internal Medicine, eligible for licensure in the state of NC and have an interest/experience in scholarly efforts (QI/LEAN or research).This individual will be responsible for the supervision of residents in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, typically 2/3:1/3 inpatient: outpatient. They will have a private half day clinic embedded within the resident clinic. Additional requirements include one weekend per four-week block, overnight phone coverage call 1 in 7, mentoring of both residents and medical students, teaching and core curriculum lectures. Demonstrate dedication to Residency education and be a role model of professionalism .
