Job DescriptionBelow, you will find a complete breakdown of everything required of potential candidates, as well as how to apply Good luck.Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (INPATIENT)Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical GroupLocation: St. Francis Hospital - Evanston, IllinoisPosition Overview:Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative, patient-focused group while enjoying a balanced schedule and supportive work environment.Highlights of the Role:• Flexible Schedules: Option for 12-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts• No Call Requirements - enjoy your personal time without after-hours interruptions• Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced gastroenterologists and support staff• State-of-the-Art Facilities with advanced GI diagnostic and treatment capabilities Responsibilities:• Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.• Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up visits.• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.• Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.• Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education. Qualifications:• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.• Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology or inpatient medicine.• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.• EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus). Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis.
