This is a .4 FTE position within a dynamic, provider-led health system that prioritizes work-life balance, professional growth, and excellence in patient care.Job Summary The Medical Director provides clinical leadership and oversight for the skilled nursing facility, ensuring high-quality medical care, regulatory compliance, and adherence to best practices in geriatric and post-acute care. This role serves as a liaison between the facility, attending providers, and regulatory bodies, supporting optimal resident outcomes and quality improvement initiativesKey Responsibilities:Provide medical leadership for all clinical programs within the facility.Review and approve clinical policies and procedures.Ensure appropriate medical care for residents, including oversight of attending physicians and midlevel providers.Participate in medical management, including Admission notes, routine follow up care notes, and discharge summary and orders.Ensure compliance with CMS, DOH, and other regulatory standards.Participate in surveys and audits; assist with corrective action plans.Lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives. xijylhu Monitor clinical indicators such as infection rates, falls, pressure ulcers, and hospital readmissions.
