Job DescriptionCandidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly.Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Provide occupational therapy services to a diverse student population ranging from TK through 12th grade across multiple school sites in San Jacinto, CA. This short-term, travel assignment offers the opportunity to support students in achieving their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals through direct intervention and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes enhancing student access, participation, and functional skill development within the school setting.Key responsibilities include:Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with students' IEP goals across various school locations.Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support student progress.Participate in and, for strong candidates, lead IEP meetings and provide documentation in compliance with educational standards.Utilize technology effectively to manage caseloads, including familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System).Adapt to both onsite and potential virtual service delivery depending on assignment needs.Qualifications and experience sought:Valid licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist.Experience working within school systems, preferably with TK12 student populations.Proficiency in SEIS and comfortable with technology for both in-person and virtual service provision.Demonstrated ability to lead IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload.This role offers 40 hours per week for approximately eight weeks, with consideration given to strong candidates for virtual work, though onsite presence is preferred.
