The physician will deliver preventative, diagnostic, and therapeutic care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient outcomes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Patient Care and Clinical ServicesProvide care across all phases of womens reproductive health, including prenatal and postnatal carePerform well-women exams, including pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears, and biopsiesDiagnose and treat reproductive health conditions and monitor ongoing patient careOrder, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and screeningsPatient Education and CounselingCounsel patients on contraception, preventative care, safe sex practices, and pregnancy expectationsEducate patients on reproductive health and preventative medicineCollaboration and DocumentationCollaborate with midwives, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plansMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systemReview lab reports, manage medication refills, and support cost-effective resource utilizationAdhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations, including HIPAAAcademic and Educational ActivitiesSupport the education and professional development of medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare learnersProvide mentoring and teaching directly or in collaboration with senior departmental facultyQualifications:Education and TrainingDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency programLicensure and CertificationCurrent, unrestricted medical license in the State of TexasBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and GynecologySkills and AttributesStrong diagnostic and clinical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits:Competitive salaryAllowed Paid Time Off (ATO)CME and professional expense allowanceRelocation assistanceMalpractice insurance providedHealth, vision, and dental insurance optionsRetirement optionsAbout Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group:Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group (Acclaim) is a multi-specialty medical group comprised of more than 500 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who partner with JPS Health Network.
