Job DescriptionIf you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.Electrophysiologist Physician Full-Time | Prime HealthcareLocation: Chicago, ILJoin a dynamic, community-focused cardiology practice in the heart of Chicago as a BC/BE Electrophysiologist. St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital, a 361-bed cornerstone of care in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood (on the near northwest side, just 2-3 miles west of downtown Chicago's Loop), delivers compassionate, high-quality services to a diverse urban population.Position Highlights:100% Electrophysiology practice in a tertiary care settingScope: ~16 hrs/week procedures; ~20 hrs/week clinic and device readsCase Volume: ~2-3 procedures/day (depending on complexity)Call: Minimal; practice-only call (no hospital call)Support: Device clinic, NP support, and strong referral base from general cardiology and primary careFull support from a comprehensive Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery teamCollaborative hospital environment with advanced EP lab and cardiac imaging capabilitiesModern equipment for complex ablations, device implants (ICD, CRT), lead extraction, and moreOpportunity for teaching, research, and program developmentBase Salary: $600,000 - $650,000+ (three-year guarantee with wRVU-based productivity incentives)Comprehensive benefits package including health, malpractice with tail, CMEQualifications:MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolFellowship-trained in Cardiac ElectrophysiologyBoard Certified/Eligible in Cardiology and ElectrophysiologyLicensed or eligible for licensure in the state of IllinoisExcellent clinical, diagnostic, and procedural skillsCommitment to patient care, safety, and team collaboration Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $600,000.00 to $650,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
