Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Provide specialized speech-language pathology assistance in a school environment located in Houston, TX, offering full-time, onsite support at an elementary school in the Southwest Houston area. This role focuses on delivering speech-language pathology aide (SLPA) services under the guidance of a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) to support student communication needs throughout the current school year ending in June 2026.Key responsibilities include:Delivering speech-language intervention services to students as per SLP supervision and established plansMaintaining accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school district standardsCollaborating with educators, therapists, and families to optimize student communication developmentAdhering to school policies and confidentiality regulationsAttending scheduled meetings and professional development as neededQualifications and experience:Active Texas SLPA license (fully licensed with supervision hours completed; no interns or clinical hours required)Previous experience providing speech-language support in a school settingReliable transportation with ability to commute to Southwest Houston area onsite dailyPunctuality, dependability, and proactive communication skillsAbility to pass drug screening and complete fingerprint/background check promptly upon contract signingAdditional requirements:Availability to start as soon as possible and commit through June 4, 2026Preparedness to participate in a virtual interview lasting 1530 minutesAccess to a personal laptop for documentation and communication purposesThis position provides a valuable opportunity to contribute to student success within a supportive school environment.
