Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in Columbus, GA, supporting a high behavioral class within a school setting. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, with a schedule of 27.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day). The position requires working closely with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assist in facilitating therapy and carrying out SLPA duties in a challenging behavioral environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct support and facilitation for speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLPManage responsibilities aligned with the SLPA role, including documentation and therapy implementationWork effectively within a high behavioral classroom, maintaining composure and applying strategies suited to behavioral challengesCollaborate with the SLP and educational team to support student progress and therapy goalsQualifications and Experience:Valid SLPA license requiredPrevious experience or background working in behavioral settings is essential and highly valuedAbility to work full-time hours as specifiedStrong communication skills and teamwork-focused attitudeLocation:Columbus, GA school settingThis role presents a rewarding opportunity to contribute to student development in a demanding but impactful environment.
